To shield his friend Dindayal, innocent Ramlal takes the blame for a crime and goes to jail, leaving his tiny daughter Sangeeta. As years passed Sangeeta grows into a beautiful dancer in a stage company run by Dindayal’s partner in crime, Tiwari. Dindayal’s nephew and his friend Pyare have taken to pickpocketing under his pressure.
Ramlal comes out of jail, buys a necklace on his way for his daughter who longs to see after 15 long years but Rajan picks it from his pocket. Ramlal. Coming to Dindayal’s house, he is shocked when told that Sangeeta was lost in a mela. Rajan grows repentant and wants to return the necklace. But Ramlal asks him to give it to his bride.
Dindayal frantically rushes to Tiwari and tells him that Ramlal has returned from jail and if the father and daughter meet, it would mean the end of their prosperity. The cunning Tiwari plots methods of deceit. Rajan, in the meanwhile, gives up his old ways and joins the stage. Quickly he begins to suspect things. Tiwari feels Rajan a thorn in his designs.
How through terrific odds Rajan succeeds in beating the deceivers and brings the unfortunate Ramlal and Sangeeta together-see the thrilling sequences on the screen.
